Avoid at all costs - Anonymous employee TreeHouse Foods Employee Review

Where to start with Treehouse foods, to start let's address the elephant in the room, the company is in danger! There is a lot of change in the supposed leadership at Treehouse foods, so much that a lot of the VP's have started to leave the company. This company has purchased different silos only to sell them off because they were losing money. Moving on to the department level, there is extreme favoritism within the department I used to work in, the alleged "top dog" of the team is incompetent and has a fragile ego, never go to this person for advice or help because they will bite your head off. When brought up to leadership, the response is deafening silence, this "top dog" can do no wrong in the eyes of leadership and it's a shame. Instead of addressing the issue, management runs and hides to avoid the conflict. As for management, it is non-existent. Never have I worked for a manager who would actively avoid questions and completely avoid an underling. Management loves to claim to never throwing underlings under the bus, yet they love the opportunity to rant about those underlings. I could go on, but at this point I would need to get paid for the rest of the review.
