Pros
Within a two year span at TM I went from Marketing Intern to Assistant Marketing Coordinator, Account Coordinator and was promoted again to Marketing Coordinator. I feel truly appreciated here and love the work I do. TM has lots of different clients spanning every industry, so the work is always varied and interesting. I have the chance to work on different projects every day and am honestly never bored. I look forward to coming to work every day. I started at TM as an intern during my fall semester in 2013. I was asked to come back to TM in fall of 2014 as a part-time employee while I finished my degree at WSU and officially began working for TM full-time in January 2015. They were very supportive, giving me flexible hours and understanding when I needed to leave early for class or an exam. TM has worked hard and made the necessary, tough decisions in order to position itself for success in the future. We are given flex time (you can work from home one day per week, the same day every week). And, if you come in early you can leave early. Obviously, if you come in late you must stay late. We currently have 9 days of paid vacations, get lots of time off during the holidays and have Summer Fridays where we get to leave work at 3pm to enjoy the nice weather (my favorite perk)! The coffee pot runs frantically all day, every day. We finally got rid of the Mountain Dew and replaced it with La Croix. The company is constantly growing and reinventing itself, staying on top of the times while still being true to its core.
Cons
I sit too close to all the delicious snacks and eat too many goldfish. (We DO have healthier snacks now too, though!) Compensation is fair. You may start low, but if you work hard you'll see your salary grow appropriately. I worked hard as an unpaid intern and, in the long run, it was one of the best career decisions I've made. Fact: TM isn't afraid to cut the chord with employees that don't work hard. (Work hard, play hard may describe TM perfectly!)
