- small perks mentioned above are pushed as replacement to real benefits like a competitive salary or professional development - lots of inner office politics leading to distrust all up and down the hierarchy - management doesn't properly understand production of modern websites and will not listen to the professionals hired to do the job. - problems are misdiagnosed, leading to removal of even more benefits and misplaced blame. This company goes through regular upheavals where a majority of the production team quit or are fired and entirely replaced by fresh meat. This cycle reaches a boiling point and repeats itself every 2-3 years. The marketing team on the other hand, is surprisingly stable.
