Whilst we will take on board any critical or constructive feedback, some of your points are frankly ridiculous and do not warrant comment.
It is important to state that businesses have had to make significant modifications to working practices during the health pandemic and closing the kitchen was a logical measure to ensure the safety of all staff. When the office was re-occupied, we conducted our risk assessment and management agreed that having communal equipment (kettle’s, plates, cups, microwave etc) was not a workable approach under the circumstances. It was made perfectly clear to all staff that they must either bring in their own refreshments/ food, or source them from the many local places on our doorstep, during their regular breaks. We also supplied staff with their own flask to assist. This approach was common sense.
The company has gone to great lengths and expense to provide all manner of precautions from one way systems, screens, PPE, wall mounted disinfectant wipes, hand sanitiser, regular lateral flow testing, temperature testing, enhanced cleaning and regular fogging, etc. We have taken the situation very seriously and supported our employees whenever and wherever needed.
Whilst you were only employed for less than a year, you achieved a 25 percent increase in your salary which was a testament to our collective hard work. You decided to give up and that was your prerogative.
We wish you every success in whatever job that you decide to pursue in your future.
