Tiger Pistol was already off to a bad start before the pandemic, but now it’s truly a sinking ship. Here’s why you should avoid working at Tiger Pistol at all costs:
1. Terrible product: The company has never been profitable and probably never will be. Despite getting money from investors to improve our product offerings, our software is worse than ever. It’s buggy, ugly and barely useable, which is why we – as a policy – avoid showing it to prospective clients. The sales team is desperately trying to sell our software but can’t, which is why there’s been such high turnover on the sales team.
2. Careless leadership: Over the course of the pandemic, they have actually become less communicative, less transparent and less invested in employee wellness. They have cut funding for certain employee benefit programs and made false promises about promotions, DEI initiatives and employee reviews that they have never followed through on. When asked if they would provide a work from home stipend, they have even made statements like, “You’re lucky to even have a job during this pandemic.” That just goes to show how little they care about employees.
3. Toxic culture: Poor leadership + a product that won’t sell = a very negative environment. There is no hope for the future and no growth opportunities. Not to mention all the shady behavior from upper management, like only hiring their friends, moving our headquarters for tax benefits, and lying to clients about what our software is capable of. All these things considered, employee morale is incredibly low. People are tired of the toxicity, which is why veteran employees are starting to leave en masse and those of us who remain are trying to get out as soon as possible.
