      * WLB * Teammates are very skilled, most of them are skilled experts in different roles. * Working environment is good, teammates are nice to cooperate * Open and free, no limitations. * Remote friendly

      * In the salary package, a lot of money is from "options" which can not turn to money easily. * Very few team buildings

      Pros

      Strong product engineering, AI enablement, partners and strong customer logos.

      Cons

      Leadership is inexperienced and depend on reputation and titles. TiDB (PingCAP) endeavors to fit into the N.A. market with a Sunnyvale address but its leadership are all slotted from its origins. Structure is typical of Chinese engineering led companies which limits its success in a period of needs to transition to selling and marketing.
