Pros

- great work events, impressive facilities and benefits from the support of the impressive infrastructure of WME.

Cons

- very little independence or autonomy in what you do. An agent assistant is always in the shadow of the agent.

Pros

- Networking - Incredible assistants (the best) - Learning how to reach out to reach out to brands and navigate multiple schedules every day - You get to learn how to handle negotiations, contracts, and answer emails within 0.1 seconds of receiving it (haha)

Cons

- Cares more about the revenue than generating a healthy and productive workplace - Hundreds of emails a day. If you are on vacation for 1 week, get ready to come back to 5,000 - 10,000 in your inbox (unless you are lucky enough to get a responsible manager who actually works) - Some managers don't set boundaries with artists. So not only does that Manager burnout, but the assistant also burns out completely. - Some managers have favorite artists that they only like to focus on, and forget their other roster - 24/7 job, you will never have a weekend ever again - Not being able to enjoy a vacation or a holiday - No diversity in the office
