Pros

To be able to go in the office once a month if that

Cons

Horrible management from the senior leadership team (SLT) . Managers don't listen to staff. Managers will lie to staff for their own benefits. Managers make you do their work while pretend to do work and then take credit for it when talking to SLT. Managers will drive you out the company. Management in the HR will sit in meetings and play games on their phone or show no professionalism in meetings as they are too busy vaping away. No training provided, will be called a wrong name despite they know your name. Get given loads of work for very little salary, no respect from SLT or HR. Managers speak down on you or ignore you when being in the same room as them. They make the organisation an excellent place to work but once you get in you can see all the cracks very soon. They only want to show volunteer reviews as it makes the company look good no reviews for actual staff working in the offices and behind the scenes. No career progression as managers will block it or want you out. The EDI in the scouts is horrible as they will hire people if they think you fit in socially and not on what knowledge or value you will have for the team.

Pros

Supportive and encouraging staff, Good benefits and holiday with volunteer leave opportunities, accessibility to the senior leadership team, good staff meetings and team meetings where information is shared, plenty of learning and development opportunities, buddied with another remote working member of staff

Cons

Finance processes are not clear and team is hard to contact, Maternity policy is not as good as my last workplace (but not sure on comparison to wider businesses),

Pros

You have the ability to work flexibly and to a schedule that suits you best as long as you attend all meetings when set. Very good morale and nice trips to meet all of your fellow colleagues for events and meetings. Your mental well-being is also considered with 1 hour breaks every Tuesday and Thursday where you’re free to do whatever with your time. Colleagues are also very welcoming especially when you’re new so you settle in quite fast. All expenses are covered when it comes to travelling.

Cons

Sometimes there can be a slight lack of work to keep you busy depending on your position but I guess this can be seen as both a good thing and a bad thing.
