Pros

All supervisors genuinely cared and offered support. The clients and families I worked with made the work meaningful.

Cons

Administration is highly unresponsive. Voicemails and emails often go unanswered, even when related to payroll or urgent client concerns. Payroll is unreliable — deductions are made without proper explanation, and access to paystubs is delayed or withheld. If you disagree with or express concerns to administration, you are often met with defensiveness or silence. It becomes clear that speaking up will affect how you're treated moving forward. The culture is retaliatory — once you advocate for yourself or push back on issues, support starts to disappear. Administration never takes accountability for mistakes or miscommunication and never issues apologies, even when they mishandle sensitive matters or affect your pay. Emotional labor and strong client relationships are undervalued. Field staff are often left out of decisions that directly impact the clients they work with daily.

Pros

From my experience, my supervisors always went above and beyond to make sure I was heard and got the help I needed.

Cons

You only get paid for face-to-face time. Your hours are never guaranteed. Might be a good job for a college student or someone just graduating college.

Pros

I was very excited to start. The training was decent but you could tell they really wanted you to start as soon as possible. Staff was friendly and easy going from what I noticed. However, I told them that I was going to leave the agency, giving them a month or more notice. I wanted to leave earlier but they asked me to just stay longer to help them out... Which I did, I worked for about 4 weeks longer. Throughout that time they were accommodating.

Cons

Once you officially leave the agency, don't expect anything from them! Very disappointing to have your emails ignored by the staff and the director just for a recommendation letter. The emails were sent over 6 weeks ago and not a single reply from anyone. Very sad and disappointing. This shows that they are nice to you as long as you are on board, once you are out they don't care to provide even the slightest help. I am embarrassed for them.

We frequently write letters of reference, process applications for BSC licensure, and otherwise support our current and former employees who have distinguished themselves in their work with our clients. We strive to maintain extremely high standards for our staff at the Masters level, since they are responsible for supervising the Bachelors level staff, and it is not possible for some to achieve or sustain the high levels of performance we require. We wish all of our former employees success in the future as they continue to search for satisfying employment experiences throughout their careers.
