We do enjoy a wonderful relationship with our attorney who helps us enforce signed contracts from time to time. We’re definitely not interested in scaring anyone, but there have been times we’ve needed to remind people of what they have signed so they can live into their contractual commitments.
Regarding physical and sexual harassment, this is something we take very seriously and when this type of situation has been brought to light, the company has dealt with it in a swift and decisive manner. This situation has been an issue one time in the last 7 years (one time before then), and following a confidential investigation, the person accused was terminated. If there are other situations you know of that we do not, please reach out and provide us with the information you have. We are 100% committed to ensuring our employees are protected and safe.
Regarding ruining peoples' lives: we believe wholeheartedly that everyone who works with us is a mature adult and they know what is best for them. Of course we would appreciate it if an employee was not feeling good about how they are being treated or dislikes a decision that has been made, to choose to have a constructive conversation with us about it. We welcome the chance to hear each other out and try make things as positive as possible for everyone. However, if someone felt they could not do that, and they really felt this was not a good work environment for them, they are free to find a better fit for them. Everyone has choices, and we refuse to see the wonderful people we have worked with as helpless victims. They are intelligent, creative, good people and we wish the best for each and every one of them. And that absolutely includes you, too.
