Pros
I started at The Centr optimistic, despite them being considered a startup after so many years, They had vision and purpose. Everyone who was apart of that was dedicated to it. Working remotely was great
Cons
The leadership/CEO. They were dedicated, but over time, the CEO removed those dedicated to the vision, reducing the guidance and success of the company. It was embarrassing and clients noticed. Seeing them slowly leave, whilst the CEO was trying to cut corners to keep these clients was enough to make anyone annoyed. Being let go for questioning the direction was the last straw and I am glad to have left now. I feel bad for those who have not left yet, and I know it wont be long before the CEO cuts them loose too.
The benefits and pay are also atrocious. PTO only is not a good look.
If you do work here, go for hourly only, as you will be expected to work many more than 40 a week to meet the CEOs ridiculous timelines, especially with 0 guidance or direction.
