Pros

No pros since April 2017.

Cons

Since April 2017, Executive Management has steadily declined in effectiveness and judgment. Promotions have often gone to individuals who lacked merit, chosen not for their contributions or integrity, but for their ability to flatter and self-promote. In 2021, leadership brought in an executive whose apparent mission was to lay off long-standing employees — people who had devoted decades to Terumo, including during the most challenging years under the Consent Decree. The result is a loss not only of knowledge and loyalty, but of the very foundation that once stabilized the company. Before 2017, this company felt like a family to many of us. It’s deeply disappointing to see how transparency and open communication have declined since April 2017. The issues are numerous and go beyond what can be captured here. I would not recommend working here unless there's a clear shift in executive leadership and accountability. Sometimes, one needs to recognize when it’s time to step down — for the good of the organization.
