Pros

-The site has Good and knowledgeable Senegalese Workforce - Corporate executives are comitted to see the business grow and offer good support to site. - Great Camping facilities for employees and contractors - Flexible work rosters for employees

Cons

- Employee concerns not listened to or no visible actions taken to address them. - Visible discrimination at site. Staff welfare is linked to race and origin. Expect to all of a sudden report to a completely incompetent new person as long as he is from the preferred race/origin... you highlight the inconsistency you get the boot.

Pros

One of the best companies I've worked for in my career. Work culture in the corporate office in Toronto is stellar. They've set the par extremely high for me, and I always find myself comparing, even now! Also the downtown office is beautiful and located centrally. The Toronto team is motivated, inspiring and highly productive. You can really tell that the executives value the employees. Senegalese staff and people are welcoming and cooperative. Geologists were highly knowledgeable. Pay was competitive.

Cons

If working in Senegal, the FIFO work can be difficult to cope to- certainly not for everyone. While the camp is 4 stars by mining world standards, a lot can be done to improve for little cost to further the livelihoods of long-term employees.
