Pros
A highly educated and talented team - especially in senior positions: Lot of opportunities to learn. A new end technology - incubated from MIT Lincoln Lab In my 1 year tenure, I felt it's more like a family. I used to everyone (From CEO to a Technician) to discuss 1:1 if required. The new President "Bien Chann" is an awesome person - Not only technically but also as a person.
Cons
I left just after Panasonic acquired it because I preferred not to take the risk as I was on H1B. At my time there were some financial budget issues and so the development for next-generation was on hold. At that moment there were some reliability issues with the diodes, and the company was really struggling with it. As a result, in those days there used to be very frequent change in plans. During my stay, one fine morning the Company fired 8 guys. Whatever may be the reason, to me Firing is a Cons. As I believe - Think twice before hiring rather than firing. PS - There are lots of negative reviews about the CEO ( during those days). Yes, he was demanding - but wearing his hat I don't see it as Cons. Frequently he uses to propose his theory/plans - but he always allowed me to confront/discuss technically.
