POSITION SPECIFIC - Management doesn't micro-manage. - Comfortable chair. - Fair compensation. - Given some creative freedom.

COMPANY OVERALL: - Constantly in "panic mode" rather than slowing down and doing things properly. Everything is done backwards to get things done quickly and to win the business, creating stress for the workers and produces more errors requiring the task to be re-done. - Say yes to every little ask from clients, putting the workers in difficult and stressful situations. - "Free address" seating, so you're required to bring your laptop home with you every night. - IT is unhelpful when it comes to anything regarding the software designers use. Required to do your own troubleshooting, sucking up hours of billable hours. Another stark contrast to my last company. - My first paycheck was late due to some error on their end, putting me in a stressful position before what was supposed to be an enjoyable a long weekend. - Great mission statement and company values on paper but it doesn't seem to resonate throughout the company. - Very old-school way of thinking with no desire to evolve. Constantly receive newsletters from marketing with articles about how working from home is stressful, clearly trying to push their old-school agenda. POSITION SPECIFIC - Inflexible about working from home for no concrete reason (for Product Solutions Designer), despite other roles within the Sales Team being afforded that perk. - Minimal to no guidance from management, hardly a relationship built since starting over six months ago. - Expected to check emails while out of office, causing stress outside of work. - Minimal to no training - compared to other office furniture company I was with previously. I've been thrown into projects and expected to learn on the fly, contrasts greatly with my previous position where they took time to train me to reduce chance for error. - Project Solution Designers are expected to put in extra time/energy because every project is rushed, but are not compensated like the rest of the Sales Team is with an annual bonus. - No guidance when it comes to day-to-day work. Team members do not delegate work, had to suggest a shared "to-do" list so that I would know what to work on. This seems to be caused by lack of trust.
