Pros

Sales team itself was a good group of people who were really fun to work with.

Cons

There’s a pretty long list here, project management team has no clue what they are doing and most of the time worked against the sales team. Many of them under qualified and didn’t understand the hierarchy of the company. Couldn’t manage a project timeline if they needed to save their life. Every project took 4-6 months longer than needed. As mentioned throughout this site the CEO isn’t actually a bad guy outside of work but he’s a pretty horrible CEO at actually running his company. I enjoyed working with him outside of work and think he’s a great guy in general, but he should hire someone to run his company and move on from the day to day tasks for everyone’s benefit. Also make the Friday weekly meeting a monthly thing, it’s a bit of a joke meeting and everyone just makes fun of it during the meeting in side chats.

Pros

This job throws you into the thick of it, but I have no problem with that because it makes things really interesting. I’ve learned so much about paid search, Google Ads, and client management. Managers expect you to come up with strategies rather than just follow instructions. The environment is energetic and supportive, so you kind of want to bring your best to the table every day.

Cons

The pressure is high during peak periods.

Pros

Always someone there to teach. This place is solid if you’re newer to digital marketing. Constantly learning. I started doing small tasks and I’ve moved into bigger responsibilities. Highly skilled marketers all around. The workflow isn’t always smooth, but I’ve learned to adapt.

Cons

Normal growing pains, but nothing unusual.
