Pros
-meet brilliant individuals -teach kids who need it most -chance to improve school/community infrastructure
Cons
-constant criticism no matter what you do. You aren't ever good enough. - 6 days a leave a year. And that too only for family death, "severe communicable diseases" and marriage of "close family". Nothing else warrants a day off. Everything else is unpaid unauthorized leave. And let me tell you, you will get screwed left right and center if you take leaves and be subjected to emotional blackmailing like 'what do you think your kids did when you didn't go to school'. -low pay and zero hike over two years. Get ready to be perceptually poor. -useless, mandatory meetings and training interspersed with your 6 day work week. Yeah as if what we do wasn't hard enough.
