Pros
Taplytics has a great team across the board. From Engineering to Sales/Marketing, CS and Back Office. Everyone on the team deeply cares about the product, the organization's growth, as well as each other. The product is extremely innovative and powerful. I had a lot of laughs with every member of the team and made real connections. Management doesn't claim to get everything right. They will openly admit when they got things wrong and will work with employees to find the right solution. Some people in the past on Glassdoor have claimed they micromanage. And to that; I would say that is a difference of opinion. The management and SLT have a wealth of knowledge and many years of experience in this industry. Those years of experience should be looked at as a value and that they are SMEs in the space. They want to be pulled into hard conversations, hard decisions, challenging projects. That is not them micromanaging, it is them providing their expertise. During the pandemic; there was a major decrease in recruiting activities. Instead of laying me off; they were able to find other areas of the business that my skills lead towards and help out. I am extremely thankful they acted in an empathetic manner during an extremely uncertain time. Great office that we didn't get to use; thanks COVID.
Cons
It is a startup and there are growing pains. There are shifts in go-to-market and team structures. Some people needed a bit more structure than what was able to be given to them.
