5yThank you for taking the time to leave this review and provide positive and constructive feedback about Maidbot. I love your analogy about Maidbot being similar to Austin in terms of creativity and scalability while being a little weird. It’s also great to hear how much you have learned over the past few years at the company as learning is part of one of our core values (‘learn, lead, and follow’). On top of that, it’s great to read about your thoughts on our early Pixar-like culture and how much you enjoy the team dynamic. We know that, when you have the right people in the right seats doing the right things, anything is possible.
I also appreciate your constructive feedback around hiring and long work hours. We are working to hire a phenomenal internal recruiter to better manage our recruitment process. We have felt pain in the past from the wrong hires, and we are working to improve based on these lessons. Maidbot is a smaller company, so we do acknowledge that could mean more hours for team members and want to hire team members who are willing to commit the time and energy necessary. That said, we know there is still more work to be done on improving the work/life harmony and hope that, as our team scales, the work/life harmony strengthens.
