Pros
The 579 Petes are very nice. Their main terminal, in Des Moines, is very nice as well. Far better then most other companies. They can get most drivers home every weekend. Great starter company; fresh out of TD school.
Cons
You must have the interior of their trucks detailed when you go in for service. If not they will shut you down until the interior meets their standards. All your Flatbed gear must be out of sight. Trucks are slow. Must use their CB & accessories. Loaner trucks suck. They don't honor first empty first to get a load. Too many rules. Your pay is flexible; do something wrong & they'll keep some.
