There used to be a great structure to the editorial team. The company gutted all of the talented people in order to protect their own positions. The Managing Director in particular is almost never around. He undermines members of the team relentlessly with ‘management via email’ and spends his time floating around the world lapping up perks and making sure that a culture of suspicion and paranoia persists. Meanwhile the brand sinks and is losing its status. It was and still is such a beautiful magazine and website, but the glory days are long gone.
