Pros
Collaborative environment - There is a real team-rule at TEKsystems, it feels like your team is your immediate family and you are supported by a much larger extended family across the globe. Elite - TEK was the hardest (and longest) interview process i went through but once i got in i realized why. The quality of consultant is another level compared to other agencies i interviewed at. It seems to be the sort of place that is tough to get into, but once you're in - you are part of the family. Disciplined - It is difficult to explain the level attention to detail of an individual's development. You have an individual training plan as well as being part of an Training Academy cohort - you are taught early on that results matter but given the freedom to find your way to success. It can be daunting at the beginning but what you learn is that you have joined the best of the best - if i wanted to be average i would have gone somewhere else! Rewards - The commission/bonus scheme is really good here, you can make embarrassingly huge amounts of money in your 2nd / 3rd year however what really makes the place special is the Quarter events/year events and share schemes for top achievers making you feel like you are part of something special. Personally i am not only driven by money, TEK seems to have recognized that and there are plenty of incentives to keep me engaged. Maturity - Most recruitment agencies i interviewed with were either wide-boys in bad suits and too much hair gel or laid back with beards and a strange tech startup culture where nobody seemed to get anything done. When interviewing with TEK i felt for the first time i had met business people that were doing something more than running a lifestyle business or a boiler room which is how other companies felt.
Cons
TEK don't do a lot to market themselves; there is a belief that the proof is in the pudding but that can hold you back sometimes.
