Heritage, free refreshments, fascinating industry and a reasonable salary. For those not in a design or engineering post it can be a great place to work.
Cons
For the size of the business and the industry the political toxicity in the design studio has been astounding. Its low levels would be comical if not so incredibly damaging to the business and need to be firmly dealt with. Sadly I am not even sure higher management acknowledge this as the key instigators remain active. To be blunt the company treats designers as a commodity whereas they should be the core of the company. Although this approach is sadly common in small consultancies where young designer's desperation allows it, in Teagues key industry it is self-defeating. You have lost or boxed in some truly remarkable individuals over the years with invaluable accumulated knowledge.
