Pros
The people. The job is low stress, quite chilled once you know what you’re doing. Not hard work generally. There’s opportunity to train in new areas and gain responsibility, which makes it more varied. Good holidays and management generally very flexible when booking days off once you’re fitting in your contracted hours.
Cons
On your feet all day, if that’s a problem for you. Sometimes repetitive before you are trained in new areas. Like any retail job, weekend work is expected. Late night finish Thursday & Friday. Mostly 8-24 hour contracts. 30 hour contract is hard to come by and higher than that is for management only.
