Career progression lacks transparency, and there is a widespread perception that local pilots (Indonesian nationals) are at a disadvantage compared to others with similar qualifications. Significant concerns exist around maintenance standards, particularly under the current maintenance management. Decisions appear heavily cost-driven, with limited emphasis on long-term reliability, and this has resulted in recurring concerns among pilots about aircraft condition.
