Pros

- Challenging, integrative projects where I can apply my experience and creativity, as well as learn from others. True collaboration is highly valued. - My manager genuinely wants me to happy at Suntiva and with my work here. He talks to me about what is next for my career, which I appreciate. - Good balance between getting the work done and having fun getting the work done, which is refreshing coming from a larger company where this was not the case. - HR is very strong and supportive to employees.

Cons

- If you are not a self-starter, Suntiva may not be the right fit for you. - There are expectations that employees truly believe in the values of the company. I see this as very positive, but if you don't agree with the values, you might find that it is not the right place for you either.

Thank you for the thoughtful feedback. It is great to hear that you find project work rewarding and that you and your manager are aligned around current work and where you would like to take your career. As it relates to corporate level communications, it is clear there is work to be done. We've been targeting communications at leadership meetings to ensure we have a plan for communicating key information back to the entire company. This will remain an ongoing focus and I hope you notice improvement very soon. Thanks again!

Pros

Suntiva is flexible, understand the balance of work and life, pay is good, benefits are good, and most important is that the company really CARES about its employees!

Cons

The only downside I have with working here is that we are in a COVID world in which I am not allowed to actually meet some of these awesome people in person.

Pros

- Culture - more than any company I've worked with, this is value driven culture. Every employee at the company gives their best and focuses on doing the right thing for our Clients. Highly ethical. If you are not, this is not the place for you. - Mentorship - Suntiva has collected some of the best minds in the business. I've always found I've had access to these individuals and they have never been shy about taking the time to share/teach. - Leadership - The leadership genuinely cares about the people and are invested in their success. They set the tone where I feel comfortable taking risks I would not have taken elsewhere. They know what they are doing and I'm confident in our strategy. - Flexible - Get your work done... put in your hours. Do your best. Always... no need to be sitting in the office everyday if you'd prefer be at home or if client needs dictate otherwise. Reality is that no place is perfect, but I truly believe this company is exceptional.

Cons

- Office space could use some upgrades. - This is a small company in the management consulting business.. which means there isn't much of a bench and only limited opportunities when you come off of assignments. While I believe the pros far outweigh the cons, this is a very real aspect of this industry.

We appreciate your advise to management and could not agree more - Suntiva's culture is what makes us special. Ethical business practices, doing our best for clients, providing flexibility - all essential elements of the Suntiva work experience. And, as you note, we are small and need to continue working on staffing strategies that balance growth opportunity with specific delivery needs. -- VP Talent Management
