Somewhat toxic work environment - Front Desk Receptionist Sunny Eye Shop Employee Review

Wage theft, was told the rate I was asking for was no problem and there were also benefits. Never got close to what I asked for , she kept saying after this month we can give you a raise, then I would have to keep reminding her. It was shady. and benefits started after one year of employment. owner could be rude, dismissive, condescending. Also was told I had to perform duties outside of my position, like sales and marketing. Had to upsell patients on services too. She forced the other part time receptionists to buy glasses
