Low pay Pay new employees more than loyal Ask people not to talk about pay even though that is illegal Micro-aggressions Abusive membership Poor leadership Old technology Allows members to sexually harass employees HR/Management uses mental health against employees Training is sub par and changes often Employees are not told about changes to policies Locations get robbed very often and there is no protection for employees HR silences employees who complain by terminating them based on NY at will employment No diversity - has council set up but does not contribute much to society - no queer, very few POC - white, cis, straight people lead Too many meetings with no substance Bad bonuses with too many markers to meet goals Management unprofessional- talk about sex life as well as bodily functions/illnesses Have heard management say “r*tarded” regarding a member Management allows employees to talk politics that relate to race Management talk openly about former employees in negative manner (Many many more egregious offenses which are in the process of review by the labor department)
