Pros
Busy work, time flies. Really great colleagues and humorous people at the bottom level, contributing to team cohesiveness. Very flexible with hours. Complete autonomy. Not the kind of job where work is around the clock. When you leave the office, the work stays there too, which is really refreshing.
Cons
Top to bottom management with too many executives and not enough staff to help the lower management with the dirty work. The few people who are actually working are struggling to stay afloat. Large layoffs multiply an already small department's workload, without compensation - this in addition to the constant change of company software, practices and departments that frequently take place mid-project. Not very open to new ideas. Lower level is not heard, executives are a ghostly figure. Difficult to grow in this company.
I think the CEO tries to be in touch and to be as communicative as possible but there seems to be a breakdown with fellow executives and the senior management beneath him. Very much a power struggle with most.
