Great people, everyone is really friendly and approachable. Great industry to work in, brilliant work life balance with mainly home working, opportunity to work with lots of different stakeholders and every day is different.

Not a lot of career development

Whilst I was there the team I had was lovely and progression was very good.

Literally everything else. Salary is basically minimum wage but your tips and service give you a decent boost. After working for the company for 6 years I’ve been given 2 weeks notice that the site will shut down as the landlord wants the space back and they claimed they only found out now but promised we will be relocated in 2 weeks. The last few days they requested us to manually transfer the stock over to a local site because they didn’t want to spend money on vans. On top of that they wanted it done in 2 days because the AM said he doesn’t want to spend money on the site. After that a team of 15 was left jobless as they said they will not give redundancy because they had new places for us. They kept delaying it and delaying it to the point where 4 weeks after people have no jobs some of which have worked for the company for 24 years. No communication from HR or the people in charge, constantly being ignored or being told “I’ll have an update tomorrow”. All in all disgusting.
