Pros
It's rare that a company surpasses its reputation for being toxic and overworking its employees, but Ste. Marie sure does.
Cons
- intense workload, well above industry standard, expect to work 50-60 hours per week, they also refuse to track time in lieu, or financially compensate employees for OT - overwhelming amount of micromanagement - leadership does not communicate well interdepartmentally - standards across the company do not align as a result - no KPI's or formal reviews, they like to say they review salaries and performance and reward on merit, but they will expect you to lead your own review and annual raises (even for cost of living) are not a thing - was told I would be allowed to work remotely, but was forced to come into the office multiple days a week - work environment is toxic and manipulative, many employees are gaslit and bullied, they do not want to hear any feedback from their employees
