Pros

After much reflection, I've realized that the most important lesson I've learned from my time at Stackkaroo is to never join a company without a formal joining letter that clearly outlines all the terms and promises made.

Cons

Lack of Compensation: The company did not provide any stipend or salary during my tenure. Disorganized Onboarding and Team Integration: There was no structured system for how employees and interns should be onboarded or integrated into their teams, leading to confusion and inefficiency. Unfulfilled Promises Without Documentation: Despite repeated requests, I was not provided with any legal documentation, such as an offer letter or joining letter, to substantiate the company's promises. Extended Probation Without Proper Communication: A probation period initially set for two weeks was extended to six weeks without any formal communication. Despite multiple inquiries, I did not receive either an offer letter or the promised stipend. Poor Work-Life Balance: The company demonstrated a complete disregard for work-life balance, which was unsurprising given their failure to provide even a basic stipend to interns. Prevalence of Verbal Abuse: Verbal abuse seemed to be normalized within the workplace. The expectation was that if work was not completed, verbal aggression from superiors was inevitable. While compensation might have made this somewhat tolerable, the lack of payment coupled with such behavior made it unacceptable.

A dynamic and competitive environment that encourages continuous learning and growth. 4. 1. Projects could benefit from more depth, as tight deadlines sometimes limit the ability to dive into more complex solutions.
