Pros
There was nothing good at all about working here
Cons
This place is a complete dumpster fire nightmare. This hospital is run so poorly that I'm surprised that they are even still in business. They do not care about their employees AT ALL. The pay scales are all over the place. Most people didn't get the pay they deserved and other people got a ton of money that their position didn't deserve. Like the recruiters are making 3 times what RNs or LPNs make. Pay for lower-level employees is abysmal. The benefits are confusing and not worth getting. I barely received 2 days of training before being left to work alone. I had to figure out everything by myself because there seem to be no set policies or procedures and the turnover is so high, there is no one to help you or answer questions because everyone is new. HR is totally and completely useless. They were never able to answer my questions about benefits or payroll and just generally did not seem happy to have to help anyone. They also use an app for employees to get their pay stubs and stuff, but in the year I was working there, I never got the app to work, no matter how much time I spent with HR to try and fix it. I'm pretty sure they were starting new hires without a drug test, TB assessment, background check or correct credentials. I'm can't believe that they are able to pass joint commission audits.
The hospital itself is disgusting. Everything is so old and worn. The bathrooms were always disgusting. Even common areas were not cleaned. The hospital rooms were even worse and the nurses treated me like they didn't care. I will never ever go back there to get medical care.
The environment was also so toxic. Like there were a few employees that had managed to be there for a long time, but they were mean to new employees and tried to intimidate myself and others I worked with. The company is not open to change or ideas. Just stay far away from this place.
