Pros

Free healthcare for full time employees and paid time off. A fun environment to work around all the inventory. My regional manager seems invested to help make a difference.

Cons

Time after time again the owner / cooperate shows they don't really care about employees time/life. Making last min changes to holiday schedules and forcing managers to work overtime when schedules are packed full. Its a great way to burn out some of your top workers. They make theses changes too with out informing anyone before hand. As a manager it is hard to motivate my team with little incentives or promises to move up from the company. More times then less I am coming out pocket just to keep my team happy. It seems they have been like this for years but with tariffs and price increases the still expect double the sales. I really used to love this company but corporate has really started to take the fun out of It. Not to mention at times they are so disorganized it makes the job that much harder.

Pros

nice customers sometimes, sufficient part time hours

Cons

everything else. We’re constantly surveilled over cameras by upper management sitting on their butts, expecting us to visit a family to interrupt their conversation TWICE after letting them know about promotions. I was singled out for drawing on a post-it note when it’d been slow, no one came in for 30 minutes, and there was nothing else to straighten/clean. Management will pick every little thing apart. They think it’s gonna help sales and keep employees accountable but it really just breeds a culture of distrust and hostility. I mean they are watching those cameras like absolute hawks. It is so hostile and harsh. Which is ironic, because that doesn’t align with the company ethos they promote to us or the customers.
