Pros
In the shop I had worked at, training was fast paced but easy to follow and met me where I was. Requested time off was, for the most part, approved
Cons
HR department was hard to reach if you even could reach them at all. Management was sexist and allowed colleagues to mock, belittle, or dehumanize others (including customers). Pay was not good, raises were small if you got them at all. They cut several full time workers pay and hours including mine for 'staffing reasons' and then hired several part time workers for lower pay to compensate for the decrease in efficiency. Me and other workers would get punished for working overtime but punished if we left work before hitting overtime. Disability accommodations took four months to be put in place for me when I brought the paperwork on my first day and I was then punished for using the accommodations we had agreed on
