Pros
Small teams give lots of opportunities for generalists or people looking to expand their experience. Frontline team members and immediate managers are friendly and dedicated to doing good work. Opportunity to work at a company with real impact to the SW suburb communities.
Cons
Corporate culture has deteriorated over the past few years alongside an increase in executive-level micromanagement and opacity. Decision-making has become more top-down, with less trust placed in frontline teams and managers. Several long-term employees have left, and others have openly expressed concerns about job stability. Turnover has increased, including among employees who were previously considered reliable and committed. Morale is low. While teams remain professional, the disconnect becomes apparent during onboarding and in day-to-day interactions, where frustration and disengagement are noticeable.
