Pros
Most personnel outside management are reasonable people. Pay and benefits OK. Location was nice (but they have moved).
Cons
Badly managed, too many people in upper management/finance for size of revenue stream. No imagination, company is on slow flight into terrain - suing competition now, rather than improving product.
System administrator was not very competent, survived by being friend of management. Dysfunctional computing environment.
Large amounts of unmaintainable C++ and Python code - only work on it if you have lots of spare brain cell capacity.
Failed to meet IPO criteria in the past, unlikely to do it in the future.
