Pros

None. Was once a enjoyable company. But it's start up fronting as a growing corparte that's stuck in the same cycle.

Cons

None, this company is full of delusional leaders and employees, running as a racist/colonist attitude. Operates as a slave ship. Under staffed but bringing in more work, with unrealistic expectations. If you not a sheep you won't fit in. Ceo is an arrogant, small minded person, that believes his the most intelligent in the room. Actually believes high staff turn over is a good thing for a growing company. So proud of losing 28 staff to tell the new employees we growing rapidly and hired 29 people in 3 months when you actually replaced staff. The head of operations is unprofessional and the fakest individual in the entity. Has no leadership skills or people skills. They operate within SA applying UK laws. The labour department needs to visit them. Applying different laws than the LRA or BCEA. They disregard mental health but advise employees they have a EAP program. All text box exercises. Does retrenchments within SA and replace the staff but made them redundant very questionable. Bullys people in not reporting or taking further action by throwing money at the person.

Pros

IDR is a smaller firm but rapidly scaling around the world. I love the diversity of thought and people at the firm, and the global nature of the company. Although my peers sit all around the world, I still feel a sense of closeness and camaraderie with them. Feedback is implemented quickly and my voice is heard. Coming from a large institution, these were all things I was seeking in my next role and IDR certainly fulfills these ideals. Working from home is also a huge benefit.

Cons

Have seen a decent amount of turnover since arriving, but we seem to be replacing them with the right people now. Lots of new hires also means more people working on the same hours as me in my country.
