Pros
Dog friendly, laid-back office, nice people (mostly), but that was it.
Cons
The pros I listed were overshadowed by the intense abuse given to me by my manager. Keep reading reviews, I'm not the only one. I would avoid being alone with her, I wouldn't speak at meetings, I would call in sick if I knew something bad had happened and she was going to be in a negative mood.
I really wanted to like my job, I really wanted to 'buy-in' to the culture they advertise, but it's all fake. A handful of the leadership at the company are given their role because they had been at the company for so long, but some have no experience or skills whatsoever for that position. This translates to dysfunctional planning, unrealistic goals, etc.
HR never took mine or colleagues’ multiple complaints seriously, and they continue to allow horrible workplace abuse instead of protecting the multiple staff members who spoke out about it. So yes, everything I've said above has been shared with HR, the founder, and the new leadership, by me or a work colleague, with no action taking place.
There is a new senior leader in place, the former sales director, who does have great experience and leadership skills. Hopefully they see the situation as it really is and finally does something about it.
