Pros

Working at Socialtyze for over 2 years was an incredible experience that turbo-charged my career in digital marketing and business development. The CEO works closely with the team, fosters a culture of continuous development + learning, and encourages team members to think outside of the box and dream big. The team is close-knit, talented, and supportive. The clients and projects you get to work on are diverse and workdays never get stale--there's definitely a palpable, positive energy in the team's workflow. The company also has cutting-edge digital marketing/social media marketing tech, so you'll develop new skills and familiarity with a ton of useful platforms. It's a fast-paced, mission-driven environment that rewards proactivity and a 'can-do' attitude.

Cons

If you're someone who values a fixed schedule or seeks to work solely within their job description, Socialtyze isn't for you. Due to the team being lean and mean, you'll be expected to step up and add value in unexpected ways. This is great for those seeking professional growth, but tough on those seeking placid stability.

Cons

CEO has serious ego issues and only cares about his personal wealth. He has to be in control of everything and doesn't like to be challenged which is an issue because he doesn't know much about running the different departments. He does however know about finance and regularly tries to get away with unethical practices. If that's not enough, he also has a "use and abuse" mentality, meaning he has to get the most out of his labor costs. Expect your job to be whatever random title you're handed plus 5 other things. CEO's significant other has way too much of a say in the business. Whines and complains to him a lot which causes internal problems. The company seriously lacks process and organization. It seems that there is a cycle of backwards progress in structure. Lack of incentives, no review process or career advancement. Bonuses/raises are avoided as much as possible.
