Pros

Collaborative, innovative environment; no politics; achievements recognized and rewarded; the whole team is united behind the company's success

Cons

Start-up life can be a little lean - the office isn't fancy or a "hipster paradise" (is that a con, really??)

Pros

I've been an employee for almost two years, and this is an awesome company! I've worked for many companies where management said their employees are their largest asset, but this is the first company I've worked for where they actually walk the walk. The leaders bend over backwards for us, and they constantly keep everyone updated with what's going on in the business. It's a very unique place. What I love most about the company is that software is our product, and everyone here has taken advantage of the opportunity to contribute their ideas and unique skills to our success. We are still a small company with a family-like atmosphere and everyone works well together. Working here is very exciting, because the healthcare industry is going through some major positive changes right now. We are all focused on building a world-class platform and applications that are going to make a difference in the world. Technology-wise it's a great place to learn and try new things, and everyone has a say in our technology direction.

Cons

Being a start-up that's highly focused on the product, we didn't have anyone focused on recruiting until recently. I think that caused a couple glitches early on. It's weird to read negative reviews, because that's not what we are like at all. I think having some talented people in charge of recruiting like we do now, we will be able to represent ourselves publicly like we know we are internally.
