Pros
Management is highly flexible, very supportive, completely approachable and quite fair for payouts. One reviewer said that compensation is weighted unfairly toward the house. Well, it's really not, especially in light of the tools that are provided for us and their costs plus the general overhead of running a business. Additionally, the team structure can make this firm quite a lucrative place to work. But it really depends on the efficiency of your team. Benefits and PTO are great. If you're looking for a place of "increased responsibility," (as one reviewer commented), there is some room for upward movement in terms of title. But the CEO is open to ideas about other markets to recruit in. This would give you a ton more responsibility, if that's what you're looking for. Last, the in-house training is superb. For someone who has never recruited before, it lays the foundation to be able to pick up and run.
Cons
Upper management probably gives too many chances to individuals, because he sees the potential in people. It's an admirable trait.... I imagine he also doesn't want to hurt morale by letting go of non or poor performers. But I think those people are harder on morale then their firing would be.
