Dishonest Management - Data Scientist Silent Eight Employee Review

Management is not trustworthy. In an all-hands meeting last month, they said nobody was being replaced, referring to some new job postings in cheap countries. Within 15 minutes of that meeting being over, they announced several people had been laid off. I survived another month before being let go. Several people have quit in the last few months because of how horrible the management is. This is nothing new for S8, management was terrible the whole time (I was employed for about 1.5 years). Tons of turnover at the upper level, the only constants are the founders. The company regularly ghosts prospective employees, I graded tests for multiple candidates who said they never heard back (or didn't hear back for months).
