Excellent team, who generally work well together and help each other out. Covid forced remote working as an option for staff but this was maintained post-covid as an option and helped facilitate healthy work-life balance.

Unfortunately the business closed its doors in 2024 after over a hundred years in business. Healthy mix of nationalities worked here but very male dominated, mostly as a result of the industry (construction)

On the downside, small firms may have fewer formal training programs and their benefits packages can be more limited. Additionally, opportunities to transfer to other departments may be limited or non-existent. You may also encounter less opportunity for growth and promotion at a small firm.
