Pros
- they pay well (on the executive search side) compared to most Kenyan companies. - decent health insurance cover - very chill culture, they don’t tend to take themselves too seriously and can have a laugh
Cons
- They are building an unethical culture when it comes to work. The Managing Partner has a minion who will make your life hell if you have differing opinions. I’m not sure if the co-founders know this. Or, they do but they don’t care because at the end of the day it’s a numbers game. - I’ve seen a lot of people from privileged back grounds get away with murder. Those without it live in fear. Those with privilege exploit this both physically and mentally on those without. - It’s over for you once they decide they don’t like you. Formal complaints of bullying won’t work, higher ups will watch you get tossed around by their minions and do nothing about it. Leave at this point, I know it’s a hard job market but keep your dignity. - Scandals front, left, right and centre. - Terrible work/life balance. - To succeed here, you may have to do things that don’t necessarily align with wholesome values. ‘’Not getting involved’’ is not an option.
