Pros
Relaxed atmosphere, good pay, individualized and team oriented work. You can make a niche for yourself and will likely get noticed for your expertise - just don't expect more money for it unless you get additional professional credentials which Shipcom will reward. Great opportunity for travel and to see a lot of the nation. This position is best for the young and or without obligations at home . This type of employee will be quietly preferred.
Cons
POU project employees who travel have little work/life balance if you have a family back home - on a regular month, you will spend about 110 hours at home a month. Management is often at odds with itself meaning the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. It is a schizophrenic management which does have the potential to be so much more effective but are still growing into the project that they are currently managing.
