Pros

permanent work from home facility provided

Cons

They are good in doing fake marketing of ShipBob while having the discussion with potential candidate. They will be scheduling multiple meetings with the leadership before you join and everyone will repeat the same fake marketing. Pathetic work culture, they does not value you personal life , you are just a low wage labor for them. Outside day to day work there will be multiple unnecessary reviews with leadership just to distract you from your work and put unnecessary pressure on you. According to them you know everything and deliver anything within a day. Director managers promote working on holidays and weekends, if you does then will be in good book else you will be the candidate for firing. Director, managers only job is to micro management and ruin your personal life and happiness.

Pros

The people are what make ShipBob such a great place to work. You'll have the opportunity to build meaningful solutions alongside talented, supportive teammates who genuinely want to see each other succeed. Collaboration is a big part of the culture, and people are always willing to share knowledge and help one another grow. The learning opportunities are endless. Every day brings new challenges, but those challenges are what help you develop new skills, build confidence, and grow professionally. If you enjoy continuous learning, solving complex problems, and working with great people, ShipBob can be a very rewarding place to build your career.

Cons

As a rapidly growing company, some processes are still being refined, which can occasionally create ambiguity. Compensation could also be more competitive for certain roles.

Pros

I’ve been at ShipBob for less than six months, but I genuinely love working here. I came from Amazon, where over time the environment became increasingly political and toxic, and the difference has been night and day. At ShipBob, I feel like I can finally breathe and show up as my authentic self without fear of optics or unnecessary bureaucracy. I work remotely and truly appreciate the trust that comes with it. I’m able to set my own hours, focus on outputs rather than optics, and maintain a healthy balance between work and life. I’m incredibly fortunate to have a manager who actively advocates for me, checks in on how I’m doing as a human—not just an employee—and supports my growth. The same goes for my skip-level leader: empathetic, grounded, and still highly effective at driving results and building a high-performing team. That combination is rare and deeply valued. I honestly feel lucky. The unlimited PTO policy did take some adjustment coming from a more rigid corporate environment, but it’s become one of the clearest signals of the company’s culture. Leadership, starting at the CEO level, genuinely believes people should be treated as humans—not as replaceable cogs—and that trust is reflected in how teams are empowered to take time when they need it.

Cons

Unlimited PTO takes getting used to: Coming from a more rigid corporate environment, it can take time to adjust to the autonomy and personal responsibility that comes with unlimited PTO. Fast-paced environment: The company moves quickly, which is exciting but may feel intense for those who prefer slower, more structured environments.
