Pros
Other caseworkers were helpful and pleasant. You got to leave the office at times. It seemed great until the first day.
Cons
Tina was a horrible trainer, couldn’t offer feedback without passive aggressive or rude comments, hopefully she is no longer there. Went on beer runs during work hours. The place is probably running better if she is no longer in charge.
Also, was promised a certain salary and was told on my first day at the job that they had to lower it due to financial problems—I should have immediately left. Shawnee Health was always complaining about their financial situation. It was awful, super micromanaged when presented as a job with flexibility, acted like it would be a hybrid job but was told on my first day that was not effective until after 6 months. Too many cons to list. Terrible employer-do not recommend working for APS at Shawnee Health.
