Pros
Only good thing is some of the employees--those who come in and do their jobs, but usually they're lower-level or non-managerial employees.
Cons
Hypocrisy and stupidity at epidemic levels. Senior mgmt fails to validate anything! They stumble along touting how successful the company is, but never verifying what they've been told by their VP's and Directors. They look like imbeciles when they're up telling how "awesome" the company is, because internal teams and even customers know it's a joke. Unqualified "posers" are promoted, therefore any new ideas are from the competition, stolen from a lower-level employee, or outdated, rebranded-as-new ideas that were originally launched 4-5 years ago. The marketing department is the worst. Instead of a cohesive marketing strategy, it feels like 20+ separate marketing departments all wandering around aimlessly. Carpet hates hard surfaces; Hard Surfaces hates Carpet; and so on. And because of Shaw's practice of promoting unqualified employees to VP's and Directors, there's no organization. Folks roll in each day without a clue as to their role and responsibilities.
