      Honest ethical company. Senior management, outside of IT, is excellent.

      Cons

      Bad IT management. Does not promote excellence in software development. Accepts mediocre results and unintuitive disjoint failure prone internal software. Too much of a buy off the shelf mentality.

      Pros

      Shaw offers a lot of opportunities for growth, great work life balance, very flexible, and has great values.

      Cons

      Very hard to get pay bumps / raises due to not having a standard annual review. They use "pay for performance" which allows them to dictate WHEN you receive a raise. Even if you're going above and beyond you really have to document every little thing you do here to argue for a raise.
